About the event

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Mother Cabrini Institute on Immigration at Villanova University, and Catholic IMMpact invite you to "Witness to Hope: The Pastoral Care of Immigrant Communities," a two-day convening from September 17-18, 2026 at Villanova University in Villanova, PA. 


The gathering will include the Catholic Church’s teachings on immigration, enforcement, and the dignity of the human person; “know your rights” guidance; the status of sensitive locations such as parishes, schools, and hospitals; strategies for accompanying and supporting immigrant families; thoughtful approaches to public events and public witness; and effective communications strategies.


The $80 registration fee includes dinner, breakfast, and box lunch. Scholarships and information on accommodations are available. For more information, please contact cms@cmsny.org.
